Best Pumpkin Patches Near Rancho Cucamonga (2026)

Pumpkin patch in the fall

Pumpkin patch in the fall

October in the Inland Empire means two things: it’s still 85 degrees, and every family in town is hunting for the perfect pumpkin. Good news: you don’t have to drive far. Here are my favorite pumpkin patches near Rancho Cucamonga, from quick weeknight stops to full-day farm trips.

Quick tip before you go: hours and prices change every year, so check each patch’s website or social page the day you head out.

Stu Miller’s Seasonal Adventures Pumpkin Patch

Rancho Cucamonga · 11400 Foothill Blvd (entrance on Mayten Ave)

The closest one for most of us, right on Foothill. Rows of pumpkins and gourds, plus rides, bounce houses, a little train and a petting zoo. It usually runs every day through Halloween, with evening hours on weeknights, so it works even after school.

Best for: little kids, weeknight trips, zero driving

Venegas Family Farm

Ontario · 13835 Euclid Ave

A real family farm in the old Chino/Ontario farmland. Pick your own pumpkin out of the field or grab one that is already cut. It is low-key and affordable, and the photos look great with the open fields behind you.

Best for: classic farm photos, keeping it simple

Frosty’s Forest

Chino · 14861 Ramona Ave

This one goes big: a corn maze, pony rides, a Ferris wheel, a carousel and a huge pumpkin patch. There is also a scarier haunted maze at night for the older kids and adults.

Best for: a full afternoon out, teens who want a scare

Live Oak Canyon Pumpkin Patch

Redlands · 32335 Live Oak Canyon Rd

About 35 minutes east, and one of the biggest patches in Southern California. Tons of games and activities, a petting zoo and a train. New this year: a haunted maze called The Hollow.

Best for: a weekend day trip, big groups

Riley’s Apple Farm

Oak Glen · 12261 Oak Glen Rd, Yucaipa

Head up the hill for apple picking, fresh cider and a big pick-your-own pumpkin patch. Oak Glen in the fall feels like a different state. Go early on weekends, because parking fills up fast.

Best for: apples and pumpkins in one trip, a cooler day

Before you go

  • Bring cash just in case. Some smaller farms are cash only.
  • Wear closed-toe shoes. Pumpkin fields get dusty (and sometimes muddy).
  • Weeknights are the least crowded at the in-town patches.
